Connected Car Apps

I helped develop apps for VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda for the smart cars. Customers can see where the car is, fuel levels, trips and more data. I made the build scripts so a single code base can output the app for different brands and look & feels.

I helped make the app using ionic so we could use a single code base for both Android and IOS. But I wanted to take it one step further. So I hooked into the IONIC build process and made NPM scripts to output the same app for different brands. This meant I had to rewrite a lot of the SCSS using variables, and a dynamic sync system between assets.

In addition I helped implement redux and implemented a lot of the APIs for the application.

The app is available 5 times in the App Store. Titled: Connect Mijn Volkswagen, Connect mijn Seat, Audi Car Assistant, Connect mijn Volkswagen bedrijfswagen.
